Mental health of Black health professionals

We are addressing the Mental health of Black health professionals in the context of COVID-19 post-pandemic.

Join a panelist made up of Health practitioners and public health advocates as we explore the topic.

Kika Otiono from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Clemence Ongolo Zogo from the University of Toronto and Ikunna Nwosu, from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, are guest speakers. Come and listen to their perspectives about the subject matter and, most importantly, about the education of health professionals in Canada. Does the curriculum content in universities in Canada, for instance, address Black health problems? Does it prepare culturally and racially competent medical professionals for a multicultural society like Canada? You don't want to miss our conversation as we commemorate Black Mental Health Month. #mentalhealth #communityengagement #canada #cocreath #iafricavoices
